I've been getting loads of texts from Talk Talk, even though I haven't been a customer for years. Makes me think their system might have been hacked at some point. These scammers just won't give up with their phishing attempts!

I've been getting like 10 messages daily, constant chatter. I tried calling back from a different number and they said it had nothing to do with them. Feels like I'm being targeted or something, especially since my bank account got scammed even tho I never even used it. Really suspicious situation.

I'm puzzled as I've gotten a couple of messages purporting to be from TalkTalk, mentioning a supposed issue. One was sent to this number, while the other had TalkTalk listed as the sender. The thing is, I don't even have an account with them!

Got some texts saying they were from TalkTalk after I reported a fault, telling me to ring 0203441550 if the issue wasn’t sorted. Had a nosy look online and that number is linked to tons of dodgy reviews on other websites. I also got genuine messages that showed TalkTalk as the sender. When I rang the official number, they told me they hadn’t sent any texts from the mobile number I got but only the ones showing TalkTalk as sender. Not sure if these are connected, but I’m currently dealing with identity fraud issues and keep getting calls and texts from people claiming to be DWP or TalkTalk. Every number they use is flagged as very suspicious. Just a heads up to be careful, folks xx

Looks like this one’s genuine. I replied to the message and got an instant reply telling me to ring the TalkTalk mobile support line. Don’t get why they can’t just phone me themselves to sort out the problem I already told them about!

I got a suspicious text and ignored it. My TalkTalk account shows nothing wrong, the connection’s fast and stable as ever. Better not to respond.

Got a call from TalkTalk, and funny enough, you can reply to the number but don’t expect them to get back to you! They act like they’re too important or something. Proper odd behaviour. Sometimes I even think I’d rather stick with Virgin Media, even though it costs a bomb, 'cos you could at least grumble to someone about their rubbish service. I had to text them 'FIXED' or 'NOT FIXED' cos my phone’s been dead for weeks now. Oh and Nigeria? Yeah, that makes sense. Not shocking at all!

Got a message from Talktalk sayin their engineer has sorted the issue. They asked me to reply with either FIXED or NOT FIXED to confirm.

Honestly, I think this is just a sneaky ploy to rip people off. Stay sharp!

Received a text from this number earlier today saying it’s from TalkTalk and about some issue with my email that’s been going on recently. Tried ringing back but no luck, so I texted back thinking it was genuinely from TalkTalk.
