Received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be with Virgin Media, wanting to discuss some supposed problems I’d reported with my internet. The funny thing is, I don’t even have broadband from them! Just goes to show, you’ve got to keep your wits about you - definitely scammers at play!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media about a broadband issue. When I asked for some sort of proof they actually worked for Virgin, the bloke just ended the call. Definitely felt dodgy!

This caller said they were from Virgin broadband, but I don’t even have Virgin broadband at my place. No idea why they assume I’ve got any issues. I just hung up straight away. If the line is owned by Vodafone, they’re probably lining their pockets with these dodgy calls.
