Had a call earlier from someone saying they were with BT, telling me my bill would go down for a few months since I supposedly wouldn’t have to pay line rental. When I asked for an explanation, the bloke rambled on in a way that was hard to follow, but I did pick up that it was something to do with me being a long-time customer. Then he asked if he could confirm my info, like my name and postcode. That’s when I told him I’d sort it out myself and ended the call.
