As soon as I picked up, all I heard was a robotic "goodbye" and then the line went dead. Reported them straight away and blocked the number.

Loads of foreign numbers calling and trying to scam me. Instead of blocking, I just let it ring and go to voicemail so they end up paying for the call. Works quite well actually.

I’ve gotten calls from this number a couple of times recently. Both times a woman with an accent said nothing for about five seconds then just said goodbye. Bit odd really.

A bloke rang me, said my full name right off the bat, then claimed he was from what I think was Beeba or maybe Aviva, really thick accent so hard to tell. I asked what the call was about and told him he shouldn’t have my number. Just as I did, he ended the call straight away!
