I got a call from someone saying they were from the Licensing Team in Lincoln City, telling me I owed £180 as a yearly fee plus another £74.95 for admin. Turns out it’s a total scam, so I’d just ignore any calls like this.

Got a call from 07785393670 claiming to be from Northampton council saying my alcohol licence had expired and I needed to send an extra £250 right away. They then asked for my bank info. When I asked why they were calling from a mobile, they said it was linked to the council and I had to pay immediately. I requested a call back from an official council number but they wouldn’t give their name so I couldn’t verify anything. Luckily, I didn’t have my bank details on me at the time. Total scam. BE CAREFUL!!!!!!😡😡😡😡
