Absolutely, it's a complete con! They pose as MBNA and try to squeeze out additional banking details from you with every call they make.

They didn't answer the call and didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either.

I received a rather puzzling call from this number, supposedly linked to MBNA. The thing is, I've never had any accounts with them, so I can't quite fathom why they would be reaching out to me at all! The moment you ring back, a voice answers claiming to be from "credit card services" and starts asking for personal information. It begs the question-if this was a legitimate bank matter, wouldn’t they be sending a proper letter instead of making shady calls like this? It’s all very dodgy, if you ask me!

Absolutely, it’s a dodgy operation. They purport to be from MBNA and seem to be fishing for further details about your bank during each call.
