recieved a message from this number saying it was a final warning from dvla and that they have been trying to reach me, also had a link to a dodgy site with words like .tax and dvia final warning. checked the official dvla site (not the one in the message!) and they clearly state they never send texts containing links. definitely a scam, so dont click on it. total scam artists!

Oh yeah, I got a message too saying something like “final notice from Swansea, we’ve been trying to reach you, click here for details" or something along those lines. The smiley face right at the start kinda gave it away for me - definitely looks like a dodgy scam trying to catch people out.
