Got another call today, but this one actually spoke. The guy claimed he was with some call blocking company and was going to help me stop all those pesky telemarketers, saying he'd update my blocking settings or something. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a text claiming to be from Paypal saying there was a suspicious login attempt on my account, and it included a link. Seriously, don’t click that link! If you’re worried about your account, just open your browser and go straight to Paypal’s official site. It’s almost certainly a scam trying to steal your info.

Total scam. Got a message saying it was from Paypal, telling me my account was “flagged because of unauthorised access” and there was a suspicious link to “confirm details.” I don’t even have a Paypal account, so instantly knew it was dodgy. Blocked the number straight away. Definitely avoid clicking that link!
