Got a call from 07784032357 earlier today. I picked up since I was waiting to hear from an engineer. After a few moments of silence, some robotic voice with an Indian accent came on, saying it was HMRC and that I had to press 1 about some problems with my tax return. Totally a scam, no doubt. I told ’em off quite loudly before hanging up. Probably didn’t do much, but it did make me feel a bit better to give them some stick.
