This guy calls himself Anthony Gilles, saying he’s the dad of a girl named Emma who’s involved in the whole scam too. Apparently, Emma is on some dating site, says she’s 25, and swaps her phone number for WhatsApp, then starts getting a bit flirty before admitting she’s almost 16. Then Anthony rings and messages from this number, claiming he’s alerted the police because Emma’s smashed her laptops and phones. After that, he asks for cash through the Monzo app so his wife won’t catch on. Totally a scam, I reported it to the police and they told me to just block the number.
