Heads up! Someone rang me saying they were from Amazon, telling me about some dodgy activity on my account. Asked if I’d bought an iPhone or shared my details with someone in California. They wanted me to click a link to stop the sale and secure my account. I told them I’d rather hang up and phone Amazon myself to check. They said that wouldn’t help ‘cos they were from Amazon Security. I said fine, I’d make a call to the real Security team at Amazon - next thing, they just hung up!
