Got a call from 07783 356320, some bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Nationwide. He started asking my name and address and then wanted to know if I was between 25 and 75 years old. When I asked what he wanted, he asked if I was still paying off my mortgage. I said yes, even though it’s not actually with Nationwide - figured he didn’t need to be told. No proper goodbye or anything, just ended the call abruptly. Definitely putting this number on my blocked list.

I told her my postcode but she said it was incorrect. Then she claimed to have some great news for me, haha. I asked who she was and she just hung up on me!

Just like loads of others have mentioned, I got a call from an Asian lady who wanted me to verify my name and postcode. But as soon as I asked her who she was, she just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some Asian woman working in a call centre, said her name was Cathy and she was ringing from Nationwide Building Society. She suddenly hung up halfway through. Feels like a dodgy scam to me, so I’ve blocked the number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Nationwide. They wanted to check my address and ask about my mortgage info. Felt a bit off to me.

Some asian woman called to verify my address. Before I could even say something, she already had my name and recited the exact address. I told her she was right, then I tried to ask who was calling but she just ended the call straight away.
