Following up on the earlier comment, I rang EE and they told me they haven't contacted me at all, so this number has to be a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, but honestly, I couldn’t make out a word because of his strong Indian accent. There was loads of background noise too, sounded like one of those busy call centres. After telling him a couple of times I just couldn’t follow, I ended up hanging up. Feels like a scam to me.
