I picked up this number and was ready to just disconnect, thinking it was probably some sort of call centre. Then a guy with an Asian accent came on and said his name was Austin. He claimed he was calling from Microsoft and said it was really urgent because my computer had been hacked. I told him that wasn't true and ended the call. Right after, he phoned back and asked why I had cut off, so I told him it was a scam and hung up again. After that, I switched on my answer machine, and when he called once more, he didn’t bother leaving any message.
