I picked up the phone, only to be greeted by a pre-recorded voice speaking in Chinese. After that, it conveniently switched to English, warning me that my landline had been misused and would be disconnected shortly. Total scam, without a doubt!

A few times now I've gotten calls from different mobiles, all playing the same message. It was a woman’s voice speaking Chinese, then an American lady translating into English, warning me my number’s acting weird and they’re gonna close the service. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.
