I don’t even drive properly, told them that, what a load of rubbish. Blocked the number right away. I get they’re just doing their job, trying to earn a crust, but it’s proper annoying having them pestering us like this. I bet if we rang them all the time, they wouldn’t be too chuffed about it. Got a call on my phone, which like someone else said, is the one I've used on loads of job sites like Reed, Jobsite, Adzuna, and CV Library. Tried calling them back but the number came up as invalid. Really fishy! No doubt someone's leaking our info. Dunno what their game is, bothering people like this. It’s just stupid. Anyway, I've blocked the number now. What idiots.

They used to ring me from an 020 number and would call like 20 times a day. Today they've called a few times from this mobile number instead. Honestly, if you're getting these calls, just get a Call Blocker app, it’s the only way to get some calm! I’m another person who was job hunting around Sept to Dec last year. When these calls first started, I actually went back and read the fine print on some of the job sites I’d signed up to. I specifically remember one (I think it was Totaljobs if I’m right) that clearly said they WOULD share your details with third parties and telemarketers!

When I first answered, I asked where they got my info from and they said some job site. The only job sites I’m signed up to are reed and indeed. Got a couple of missed calls from this number earlier, thought it might be about a job I applied for. When I finally picked up, it was a bloke with an accent who knew my name and even where I live. He kept asking about my gas and electricity suppliers, and what brand my TV is. Not sure where they got all that info from.

At first, I ignored the call, but I picked up the second time hoping it was about a job. It was an Asian guy using my last name, insisting he needed to ask me questions for some survey. He kept talking over me when I told him to remove my number from his list. Absolutely didnt pay attention to anything i said. I think he called me a few months back from another number too, and we had a proper argument then. Blocked him now.

I got four calls from this number and on the fifth try I picked up. A bloke asked me to verify some stuff but I said no and asked to speak to a manager instead. When I got through, I told them it was a cold call and I never gave permission to be contacted, so they should remove me from their list. I also said if I got any more calls I'd report them to the ombudsman for harassment. Clearly they didn’t get the message as I blocked the number and they've phone me 16 times in just six hours! Now it's definitely an ombudsman complaint. Hope this helps someone!

They say they’re from Choose Lifestyle, saying it’s a customer survey or whatever. Pretty clear it’s just some call centre in India. I usually mess about asking them random stuff like what soup they like or who’d win in a fight, Kirk or Picard, and just carry on chatting till they eventually give up and hang up.

Got a call from an Asian guy who wanted me to verify my name (which he already knew). He said he wasn’t selling anything and just needed 30 seconds to go through a survey with me. I told him I was busy at work and couldn’t talk, but he just dropped the call right away. Feels like he’s probably finding these numbers from job applications or something online.

I get constant calls from these annoying muppets every day. One time I picked up but didn’t say a word. The bloke on the other end started whispering some creepy, ghosty stuff. I passed the phone to my boyfriend and as soon as he spoke, they just cut off! Proper idiots!

Got a call from some Indian call centre bloke. He started off asking if I'm married and what telly I own, plus a bunch of other daft questions I really didn’t want to answer. Then he claimed he wasn't trying to sell me anything, but suddenly he mentioned something about switching gas and electricity suppliers. It’s all a bit ridiculous and irritating, but what really bugs me is how on earth he got hold of my address!

I put them on block after the first ring, but they keep ringing me nonstop. My spam filter says they tried to call me five times today. Just so you know, I used to be in a call centre, and whistles or those air horn sounds don’t do much since the volume is controlled by their system, but if you blow into the mic it comes out super loud. So try that instead of those noise things :)

I've had this firm ringing me loads of times, sometimes even from a blocked number, and they keep calling even after I've told them to take my details off their list! I have no idea how they got hold of my number. The people on the other end barely speak properly or make much sense. When I tried calling the number back, it just said my number wasn’t recognised! They keep asking loads of personal stuff, like which bank I use. Seriously, be cautious and don’t share any info with them!
