It's a dodgy number posing as statement services – best to add it to your blocked list!

I've been receiving unsolicited texts that claim I have two voicemails waiting for me. They prompt me to click on a number or link, which I clearly don't trust. It’s just easier to delete them since there's no way to block these messages. It really gets on my nerves!

In each voicemail I received, a mechanical voice kept repeating, "Press 1 if you'd like to connect with one of our representatives."

Received a call from a lady with an Indian accent who somehow had my name and address. She was quizzing me about my energy consumption. I firmly told her it was none of her concern and subsequently blocked the number.

Honestly, if I have to endure that ridiculous, AI-esque music in my voicemail once more, I swear I'll lose it! It's absolutely bonkers!

Got a nuisance call from 03308226493, which I promptly ignored. Not long after, I received a message from 07782333123 claiming I had a voicemail. Curiosity got the better of me, so I rang 3's 123 service and was greeted with the unsettling sounds of a telemarketing scam originating from the first number. It was quite the experience!

Any networks that operate on 3’s infrastructure will utilise the identical number for accessing voicemail as well.
