Had a really unpleasant experience with a pushy woman cold-calling me out of the blue. She was trying to flog anti-bullying ad space in some booklets, but the catch? She wanted £1,200 for an advert that only got printed in four copies! Proper scam, and I think BBC Watchdog even did a feature on this kind of thing. Loads of councils are aware of these scammers too. This woman was super rude and totally dishonest, just telling bare-faced lies.
