It was an automated female voice warning me about a £900 suspicious transaction on my Visa card, asking me to press 1 to stop it. They never said which bank was calling. Normally my bank’s fraud team would ring me directly if there was a problem. Plus, I don’t even have a Visa card at the moment. Seems dodgy, like a phishing scam trying to trick people with a fake fraud warning. When I tried to ring back, I got a message saying the number isn’t recognised.
