Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I’d get arrested if I didn’t pay up quickly. Pretty sure it was a scam, sounded really dodgy and pushy. Watch out, folks!

I didn't get a call from 07781 427199, but I rang them back out of curiosity. Weirdly enough, my phone bill shows a charge of 45p for just a six second call. Definitely going to report this to the cops. Watch out everyone.

Is it really necessary for someone who owes no one to be pestering people so early? Feels like they might be targeting older folks or those who can't really defend themselves.

Got a call about 9.30 in the morning, but I can't quite recall everything he said since it startled me awake. He mentioned something about me owing on a debit and asked if I was gonna pay £1000 or £2000 soon. Right away, I realised he had no clue since I’m not paying off any debts at all, so I just hung up. If anyone rings you like that, just hang up straight away - they’re just trying to catch you out.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Citizens Advice about my debts. I told him I don’t owe anything and have never been in touch with Citizens Advice, then he just cut the call straight away.
