Got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, asking if I agreed to a £700 transfer. They said to press 1 if I didn’t approve it. Sounded dodgy right away, just a scammer trying to pull a fast one.

Got a robotic message claiming there was suspicious activity on my Visa Mastercard. Problem is, I don’t even own a Mastercard! If I did, the only ‘illegal’ thing would be using it a bit too much. Seriously, don’t pick up calls from this number, it’s definitely a scam trying to grab your bank info and all that. Stay safe!

At first, it was one of those automated calls. After a bit, I ended up talking to someone from customer service. They asked for my surname to check why they were ringing, then wanted my first name as well. I told them both, and then they just hung up on me.

Got a call from a number showing Guernsey on the caller ID, which struck me as really strange since all the other people mentioning this number say the calls come from England.
