When I asked who was calling, the guy said UK Choice and kept repeating the question. I told him I didn’t want to speak and ended the call. It went straight to voicemail and, annoyingly, there was no option to leave a message asking them not to call again. Of course, the mailbox was already full - no shock there. I was dozing off when my phone rang, so I picked up. Some bloke said he wasn’t trying to sell me anything but wanted to ask some questions. Mostly just yes or no replies, apart from when he asked if I owned my home, rented privately, or from the council. Then he wanted my age, which I refused to give. He kept pleading with me not to hang up. Took a bit of back-and-forth before he finally left me alone. I've blocked the number now. I wasn't about to be honest, my affairs are nobody’s business but mine.
