Somebody called pretending to be from Amazon and even sent me a one-time password straight from 'Amazon'! They told me my subscription was about to renew automatically and asked me to verify the code sent to my phone (which was a legit OTP apparently). When I asked them to confirm the email connected to the account they mentioned, they started getting aggressive, insisting it wasn’t a scam. They even gave me a fake staff ID. I ended the call and checked with Amazon directly. Turns out, it was definitely a scam trying to hack into my account.
