I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Amazon, it was a total scam. Apparently, they’d managed to get into my Amazon account and asked for a verification code that was sent to me. Then she rang me up saying someone was trying to buy an iPhone using my account and they needed to stop it. When she requested the code, I refused to give it, and she got annoyed, saying they’d cover the cost of the phone and then just hung up! Honestly, it all sounded quite believable.
