Today, I got a call from this number showing up as missed, but they left no voicemail or anything. When I rang back, someone said it was the wrong number. I use an iPhone so I didn’t even have to enter the digits manually to call it back. Honestly, I just don’t get how it could be a wrong number then.

scam alert - this bloke knew my full name right off the bat, told me his name was Harry but I didn’t catch his surname, sounded like he might’ve been African or something. he claimed since I pay my bills and debts on time I qualified for some government thing. I cut him off straight away and told him “this is a scam, and I hope his god smites him and his whole family.” maybe wishful thinking on my end, but still wanted to stop him scamming folks here in the UK.

I'm under 18 and this guy calling me gave me a really strange vibe. I never got his name 'cos I just didn't want to keep talking. His accent was all over the place, kind of sounding like he was African mixed with an Australian twang. He mentioned he was calling from England, but I couldn’t really catch the exact place he said. Definitely felt odd.
