"Public service, my foot! I've lodged a complaint with Ofcom and the Information Commissioner’s Office. Let's see how they like that."

***CAUTION*** Scam alert! We decided to block our number and give them a ring. Unsurprisingly, there was no response. Instead, we received a message that I reckon these characters thought looked quite legitimate. But if you don't hang up right away, you quickly realise it’s merely a typical Orange voicemail! Absolute fools. Just steer clear, delete, and pay no attention to them.

We've just received the same text message, it’s clearly a scam!

Earlier today, I got a rather dubious text message about some public announcement regarding RTA over the past three years. It asked me to reply with ‘YES’ if I was interested. Honestly, it seems like a classic case of phishing or perhaps they're trying to enrol us in some service we never requested. Quite concerning, really!

I just had a message ping my phone from the same number, beginning with "This is a public announcement…" and then droning on about some supposed road traffic accident in the last three years. As if! If I’d been involved in anything like that, I’d certainly be engaging with the proper channels rather than falling for a dodgy scam that likely wouldn’t give me the time of day. I’m taking this up with OFCOM and other legitimate authorities to have this number wiped off the face of the earth. The more individuals that flag this, the quicker action will be taken against these nuisances. And trust me, reporting them actually does make a difference!
