This number rang me up pretending to be from HMRC asking for my personal info. Thankfully I was suspicious and decided to turn the tables on them, asking them to prove who they were by giving me my own details first. They soon realised I was smarter than they expected and ended up hanging up on me! Quite cheeky really. Just a heads up though, never share your details with callers, especially if they’re on a mobile number. Stay safe, folks!

I’ve been getting calls from this number and a few others that sound just like it. When I pick up, there’s this short tune playing for under 10 seconds, then it ends suddenly. It’s happened to me about 4 times this past week. I block one number, but then another, almost the same, pops up ringing my phone again. Very annoying!

Got a call from this number earlier but I just ignored it and they never said anything. I've gone ahead and blocked them now!

I picked up the call but didn’t say a word, thinking it was probably one of those annoying new tricks to make you pick up. The line stayed silent for a bit, then just cut off - exactly what I thought it was. It’s those ###lId numbers again. Don’t they have any laws to stop this nonsense? The government really needs to step in!

This number called me a few times, maybe three, so I decided to ring back. At first, there was some noise, but then the line just went silent. I didn’t waste any time and blocked it straight away.

Dont pick up, its a scammer trying to see if your number is active, just ignore the call.

Wasn't able to answer the phone quick enough and they didn’t leave any message. If it was something important, I’m sure there’d be a voicemail. After reading some of the other comments, I’m a bit wary and thinking this might be dodgy.
