A man with a strong Indian accent rang me asking about my son. He mentioned an old postcode of mine and wanted to know if I still had a mortgage with Nationwide. He claimed he was calling from Nationwide, but nobody in my family has ever had a mortgage there, and my son definitely hasn't had one anywhere. I pretended to go along for a bit, then asked him for his full name. He said it was David Jacobs. I told him I didn’t trust that name or believe he was actually from Nationwide Building Society. He then swore at me and abruptly ended the call.

Got a call from this number twice within a couple of hours. Every time I picked up, there was nothing but silence and then they just ended the call.

I didn't realise quick enough and rang the number back without much thought (not my brightest move, I know). Pretty sure it was just gathering info, so I've added it to my block list now.

They kept ringing me loads of times every day, but whenever I picked up, someone else just hung up straight away. Annoying as hell - so I’ve blocked the number now.
