this lady said she was from some government office and promised to help me clear my debts. i barely got to say anything before she kept going on and on. after about ten minutes of me messing around and not taking her seriously, she twigged i was having a laugh and ended the call on me.

I got a call from some woman with an accent, she asked for me and said she's from the credit investigation bureau or something like that. I didn’t hang around, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Much like others, I inquired about the source of his details, and he mentioned the Financial Conduct Authority located in Manchester before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite dodgy, if you ask me, especially since the number he called from isn't reachable for a return call.

Today I got a call from a man with a strong foreign accent who asked for me by name. He claimed to be from a credit company, but I couldn't catch the name because of his accent. I asked him, "How did you get my number?" He let out a big sigh, which annoyed me enough to say, "Don’t sigh at me." Right then, he just ended the call before I could say anything else. I didn’t bother calling back.

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau about some supposed debt of mine. The thing is, I don’t have any debts at all, and come on, CAB wouldn't be ringing me from a mobile, would they? Rubbish! Cheers, but no thanks!

Just received a rather intrusive phone call from someone claiming to have intel regarding my financial woes, addressing me as Mr. (my first name). I promptly informed him that this is a business line and it's registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I insisted, rather firmly, that he erase my information from their records and to refrain from contacting me again. He abruptly hung up afterwards.

ANNOYING TELEPHONE CALL! Just absolute pillocks trying to peddle pointless products you could never want. They claimed I’d had a car crash in the past twelve months and were eager to sort out a compensation claim for me! First off, I don’t even possess a driving licence, never mind a car. To top it all off, I’ve never been involved in an accident - absolutely laughable! 😂

I just had a rather dodgy chap ring me from this number, claiming he was with the government and could assist with some supposed unsecured debt of mine. Smelled a bit off if you ask me! As soon as I probed a bit further, he promptly cut the line. Now I'm left wondering how he managed to get hold of my number and why he referred to me as 'Miss Alison'! Stay vigilant, everyone!

Had a call earlier from this number, and some bloke with a funny accent asked if he could speak to me by name. He claimed he was from Citizens Advice and wanted to get some info from me. I wasn't having any of it and just told him no before hanging up.

Received a call from this number earlier today. When I picked up, there was utter silence on the other end. I found myself repeatedly saying "hello," only for an automated voice to chime in with a "goodbye" before disconnecting. Quite peculiar, to say the least!
