this lady said she was from some government office and promised to help me clear my debts. i barely got to say anything before she kept going on and on. after about ten minutes of me messing around and not taking her seriously, she twigged i was having a laugh and ended the call on me.

I got a call from some woman with an accent, she asked for me and said she's from the credit investigation bureau or something like that. I didn’t hang around, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Like loads of others here, I asked where he’d got his details, and he claimed it was from the Financial Conduct Authority in Manchester, but then he just cut the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me. Also, I tried ringing him back but the number wouldn’t connect at all.

Today I got a call from a man with a strong foreign accent who asked for me by name. He claimed to be from a credit company, but I couldn't catch the name because of his accent. I asked him, "How did you get my number?" He let out a big sigh, which annoyed me enough to say, "Don’t sigh at me." Right then, he just ended the call before I could say anything else. I didn’t bother calling back.

I got a call from a woman who sounded Indian and she claimed to be from Citizens Advice Bureau about some debt I supposedly have. Thing is, I don't owe a penny and I seriously doubt CAB would ring from a mobile number anyway. I just told her no thanks and hung up!

I got a call not long ago from someone claiming to know I was having trouble with my debts. He called me by my first name, which was a bit off. I explained pretty quickly that this was a work number and that it’s on the TPS list. I told him firmly to take my info off their system and never call me back. After that, he just hung up.

Rubbish call. These muppets ringing up trying to sell stuff you have no use for. They said I’d been in a car crash last year and wanted me to claim compensation? Problem is, I don’t even hold a licence, let alone a car. Never been in an accident either, LOL.

I got a call earlier from this number, some guy claiming he was from HM government. Said I’ve got some sort of debt that wasn’t sorted and he wanted to help. Sounded dodgy to me right away. When I started asking questions, he just ended the call. No idea how he got hold of my number or how he even knew to call me Miss Alison. Worth being cautious if you get a call like this!

Had a call earlier from this number, and some bloke with a funny accent asked if he could speak to me by name. He claimed he was from Citizens Advice and wanted to get some info from me. I wasn't having any of it and just told him no before hanging up.
