Got a call from a woman with an Indian name claiming she was with BT. I cut her off and told her she was actually speaking to the fraud dept. Doesn’t make sense BT would ring me on my Vodafone line. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Just got a call on this number from a woman who said her name was Elena and claimed to be from BT tech support. Pretty obvious scam. It’s the first time these scammers tried to contact the firm I’m at on a mobile, but over the last couple of weeks they've been calling us from numbers like: 01292 269899, 01247 547942, 01289 539701, 01347 854846, 01489 895385, and 01407 765115. Honestly, best to not get involved with these muppets unless you want to waste their time for a bit.
