This number rang my landline a couple times yesterday and then just now again this morning. They claimed to be from TalkTalk, all with Indian accents. They asked if I had any issues with my internet, but I told them we don't even use computers here, just phones. After that, they just hung up. When they called once more, I said "You've already called and ended the call," and they hung up again! Pretty sure it's a scam!

Got a call from someone named Alex, sounded Indian, saying I could get some cash back from Barclaycard - like 30% of £2,400, but I can’t recall spending that much. They rang me yesterday, but the moment I questioned them, they just cut the call. However, today I gave them the go-ahead to check into it.

Someone called saying I was due 3 grand from a PPI claim, but when I asked who it was from, they kinda went quiet. I told them to just send me the cheque and then they vanished. Definitely felt like a scam.

I got a call on my mobile from some dodgy number asking for money, but as soon as I asked why they were ringing me on my mobile, they just hung up. Sketchy behaviour if you ask me.
