It’s a scam, they claimed to be my bank’s fraud department. I got suspicious and rang the real fraud team using the number printed on the back of my card, and they confirmed they hadn’t received any alerts or calls about anything dodgy.

What a scam! They posed as the fraud prevention team for my bank. Fortunately, I had the sense to ring the proper fraud department-dialling the number on my card, just in case something seemed amiss. The genuine team informed me that they hadn’t recorded any calls or unusual activity. It’s frightening how convincing these fraudsters can be!

Got a text from someone claiming to be Lloyds, saying my new sort code and account number were ready. It told me the local manager, supposedly named *Name*, would sort out the activation. Honestly, don’t fall for this, it’s definitely a scam, not to be trusted at all.

I got a call pretending to be from Lloyds Bank warning me about a scam. Shortly after, I received a text from the same number with details of a new bank account to send money to. Feeling quite uneasy, I ended the call and directly contacted Lloyds' fraud department, who told me it was definitely a scam.
