My wife's phone rang from someone with an Indian accent, and when I picked up, the guy oddly knew my name. He claimed I was eligible for some government scheme because I was apparently on top of my unsecured loans. I told him I didn’t actually have any, then he just cut the call. Felt pretty suspicious to me.

I got a call from someone who sounded like they had an Indian accent, telling me I owed some unsecured debt. I told them I’m sorting things with my IVA just fine. Then he surprised me by giving my date of birth and the name of my IVA firm. He asked how much longer the IVA would last, but I didn’t want to say and he started getting a bit rude. I decided not to answer anything else and just told him goodbye.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming I owed more than £5000. I told him I didn’t have any debts. He said he got some info about it. When I asked him to name the creditors, he just said he must’ve been given the wrong details. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
