I got a call about a supposed order made on my Amazon account for an expensive laptop, but I never placed it. They said they could cancel it if I gave them a code sent by text. The message popped up saying something like "XXXXXX is your Amazon OTP. Don’t share it with anyone." I pretended to check things while logging into my Amazon and PayPal on my laptop, but thankfully, there was no order pending. I ended the call because it was clearly a scam trying to access my Amazon using the one-time password from a password reset.
