I got a call from someone with a pretty thick Indian accent who started off asking how I was. I didn't answer straight away, so he asked why I wasn't responding. I told him I was waiting to hear why he had called. Then suddenly he told me to F*** Off and just hung up!

Got a call from someone saying he was a freelance debt advisor keen to sort out an IVA for me. Claimed he was from Lancashire. When I asked him basic stuff like his phone number or email, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. Then out of nowhere he told me I was “very stupid” and I was “going to die” before just hanging up. Honestly, what a horrible attitude!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from the fraud team, saying some government lot had handed over my info. He kept asking for me by name and said I owed money, offering help to sort it out. He was quite pushy, but I didn’t share anything and just hung up on him.

Got a call from someone claiming it was about debts I supposedly owed. Thing is, I don't have any! I had just done a free credit report on CLEARSCORE[###] recently, and now it seems like my info might be getting passed to scammers in Pakistan. Proper worried about that.

I got a call from a man speaking with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from some debt collection place, saying I owed them money. I told him straight out that I don’t owe anyone a penny. Then he goes on saying he’ll keep calling me at all hours. When I told him to stop calling, he threatened that I could face prosecution. I asked him how they even got my number, but he refused to say who gave it to them, just said it had been passed around. Ended up ringing the police to check what to do next.

Got a call on my mobile from this number earlier. The bloke spoke with a thick Indian accent and started claiming I owed some money. I told him to stop right there since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Then he said he was calling from some Government Department and insisted I had outstanding debt. I asked what the debt was about and who told him that, as I don’t owe anything. I couldn't make out properly what he said next, so I asked him to repeat. He claimed my dad told him. I told him my dad's been dead for years, and unless he was chatting to spirits, he was full of nonsense. After that, he just hung up.

About 15 minutes later, I tried ringing back but the number was disconnected.

What a creepy weirdo. Honestly wish I could track him down.

Some bloke with awful English rang me up asking for me by my last name, saying he was calling from the citizens advice bureau. He told me someone had made a complaint about me having unpaid debts. I just laughed and told him I don’t owe a penny to anyone, then asked who supposedly complained. He told me if I don’t owe anything, I had nothing to worry about and then cut me off when I asked how he found my details. Pure scam, really shocked the police aren’t cracking down on this stuff.

I got a call from this number out of the blue, they were claiming I owed some sort of debt. I told them straight up I've never had any debts and said these kinds of calls are really annoying. Then they just hung up on me. Not surprised you can’t call them back either. Strange how that works! I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Was called by someone claiming to be from the Crime Credit Investigation Unit, saying I had overdue debts. They somehow had my name too. I just told them to get lost and hung up straight away. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it.

Looks like this is a scam from someone in Pakistan. I wouldn’t share any details with them. Just block the number and report them to the Police and Action Fraud, that’s what I did.

Some bloke called me sayin' a credit report with my name on it had just come through for him. He sounded surprised that I apparently owed nothing and asked if I had a credit card. I told him no and asked where he was calling from and how he even got my number - then he just hung up! Honestly, don’t pick up if you get a call like this!

About twenty minutes back, I got a ring from this number. I answered with a simple 'Hello', but there was no reply. So, I tried my usual routine: ‘If a heavy breather’s there, you can start after 3… 1...2...3...’ then I hung up. Every now and then, you catch a shocked gasp from the other side which is a bit funny. About six hours back I got a call from this very same number. The person on the line had a strong African accent and was talking about unsecured debts, claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau. I asked "where exactly are you calling from?" but got no reply. I kept my responses vague and as you might expect, he got annoyed, snapping "why do you keep saying 'oh really'? Just get off the phone!" Before I could say anything else, he ended the call. Such bad manners, honestly I'd steer clear of answering if you see this number pop up.
