Every time I picked up, they just hung up on me.

Just got a call from the same number saying I owed £5000. I couldn't help but laugh and jokingly asked “who’s that with?” before he cut me off. Tried ringing back and it went straight to voicemail of some bloke named Barry, sounded proper English.

Got a call from some bloke claiming I owed money and needed to settle it. I told him I didn't have any debts. He sounded proper shocked like, “you don’t have debts?” I called it out as fishy and he just hung up right away. I blocked the number after that. Seemed like a total scam, especially since they were calling from a mobile. Very odd.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau, said they had details of my unsecured debts on their list. I asked which companies the debts were with so I could get in touch with them myself, plus who gave them that info. Then, they just ended the call. Feels like a scam to me. This outfit shouldn't be allowed to pretend they're a government agency - should definitely be reported.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent who somehow already had my full name. When I rang the number back, an answering machine picked up with someone named Barry speaking very English. The bloke on the phone was saying I was under investigation, something to do with credit accounts. The number was 07778 421 624.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau about some debts I supposedly had. When I told him I didn’t owe anything, he said not to stress, that he wasn’t a debt collector but some government official trying to update me. I asked what update he meant, but all he did was keep saying he was from a government department. Told him not to ring me again, and he just swore at me and ended the call. Proper rude!
