My partner got this message and it was really harsh and quite frightening for her, especially since we’re both retired and it caught us off guard. She didn’t reply at all though, being sensible; instead, she talked to me about it and we soon figured it was a scam. Honestly, it was pretty forceful in how it was written. These scammers need to be put in their place - I have no clue who they’re pretending to be!

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from the council about a fine, but it was full of obvious mistakes. The link they wanted you to click looked super sketchy too. Definitely a scam!
