These lot claim to be from some Credit Investigation Dept, but when I asked which company they were with, they just went silent and then dropped the call. Honestly, they've been ringing me from loads of different numbers, at least a couple times every day now! Proper annoying.

Got a call from an Indian bloke saying I was in arrears and could settle by paying just 30% of what I owed. I played along for a bit, then when he started asking who I owed and the amounts, I said I had debts with four different banks and six credit cards, adding up to around £90,000. Still, he didn’t seem to twig that I was winding him up, so eventually I called him out for being a scammer. He just hung up straight away.

Received a rather dubious call claiming that I was under investigation. They were rather persistent, especially noticing I have debts amounting to over 3-4k. As soon as I started to mention my number, I promptly ended the conversation. Best to avoid these sorts of conversations altogether!

The individuals on the other end claimed to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau and inquired whether I had any unpaid debts. I assured them that I didn't, and just like that, they abruptly hung up on me.
