I've just come across a rather dodgy landline number. These con artists are masquerading as representatives from HMRC. I received a recorded message urging me to press 1 if I wished to discuss a supposed tax fraud case linked to my name. It even mentioned that failure to comply could result in an arrest warrant being issued against me! Truly unsettling stuff!

Seems like a dodgy scam to me - best to just end the call right away. They’re pretending to be from HMRC or even the Bank of England, trying to scare you into thinking you owe loads of tax or unpaid money. They start threatening you, saying your National Insurance number will be cancelled or you’ll face arrest, court cases, or jail if you don’t pay up straight away over the phone. Honestly, it’s just blackmail and should be reported. Fingers crossed they get caught and dealt with properly.

I keep getting these really annoying calls. Just earlier today, some bloke with an Indian accent was trying to sell me a laptop. When I said I wasn’t interested, he started getting rude and said some pretty nasty things.
