been getting loads of calls from them, told them off proper but now they just ring up, swear at me and then cut the line. it’s really annoying!

Yesterday, I got another call from the exact same bloke, but this time he used a different mobile number.

This bloke said his name was Joseph and claimed he was ringing about some debt I supposedly owe. I told him I didn't owe anything, but he kept insisting I had like £20,000 in debt. Obviously, that's a load of rubbish. Definitely a scam.

This bloke said he was from some credit data protection or something, tryin to talk me about some debt i supposedly owed on all sorts. I told him i had no idea what he was on about and just hung up. total scammer, waste of time.

Had a call just like today. When I asked why they switched from saying they were from Citizens Advice to calling themselves credit investigators, and why the government hadn’t sent me any letters, he told me I was "bloody stupid." Then he said the call wasn’t for me and hung up.

theyve called me twice now, first pretending to be from citizens advice, then just today saying theyre from some credit investigation dept, telling me my name is on their list for unpaid debts (which is completely false, and they even used my old, outdated maiden name!). im 50 and this info is way off. stear clear and dont share any details. looks like a scam to me.

Got a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre claiming they could cancel my debt through some government plan. Pretty sure they were just fishing for my bank info and card details to scam me. Wish we had laws like in the States where these calls are banned and callers get hit with a $1500 fine each time! It’d stop this nonsense for sure.

We happened to be on the loo when our phone rang from these scammers, so we thought, why not let them eavesdrop on our little situation? Oh, and by the way, had a delightful vindaloo last night-absolutely scrumptious!

They attempted to contact us half a dozen times, asking for our account details. In the end, I told them to clear off!

I received around twenty missed calls from this number in just an hour! We haven't tried returning the call, but we did send a text to find out who it is and haven’t heard anything back. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?
