Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying I hadn’t settled my taxes for 2019 to 2021 and I owed £900, asking if I wanted to get arrested. I asked her to prove what taxes I’d supposedly missed because, obviously, she couldn’t give me any details. I told her I’d just wait for the cops to show up and enjoy a cup of tea while waiting. Then I joked about how proud her folks must be with her doing this bit of work. She hung up straight away. Glad I wasted a bit of her time anyway.
