Got a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, saying they’d withdrawn £79 from my bank. They then told me to open Google on my phone and type in a certain website. I pretended to do it but obviously didn’t. Next, they asked if the site showed my exact location, and I said yes just to keep them talking. Then out of nowhere, they started cursing at me, calling me a load of horrible names. Either Amazon’s support has seriously changed for the worse or it was a total con.
