4 yearsGot a robocall saying it was HM Revenue & Customs, saying I was wanted for tax dodging and to press 1 to talk to an agent or press 2 to ignore. I just ended the call straight away. It was obviously a con because HMRC wouldn’t ring up your mobile like that, especially out of the blue. They always send letters first. Plus, my tax is all sorted properly through my pay and national insurance anyway. Also, what kind of choice is it to either speak to someone or ignore, when hanging up is basically ignoring?
