They kept ringing my phone but didn’t pick up when I answered, so I just blocked the number.

For the past week or so, gettin these phone calls non stop. Mostly quiet on the other end, then they just hang up after a bit. Thing is, they’ve started ringin me early morning now, woke me up a couple times already. Feels like straight up harassment. When they do talk, all I catch is some random name I’ve never heard before. Proper annoying!

Someone rang me pretending to be from a charity asking if I wanted to donate. I told them no and quickly hung up. It’s not that I’m against donating, but I’m just wary of doing it over the phone or internet - I worry it’s a bit dodgy. I prefer giving to charities in my own area, where I know my money’s really going to help.

I tried ringing back but the number just wouldn’t connect, so I’m thinking it was probably some call centre. Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.
