Got a call from a lady telling me my credit card was charged £120 for a service, but if I hadn’t made that purchase, I should press 1 to speak to the fraud team. I just ended the call straight away. Over the next couple of days, I called the number twice, both times with my phone number blocked. The phone rang for a bit before Tesco’s voicemail kicked in, saying the person wasn’t available and to leave a message after the beep. I didn’t leave a message and hung up each time.

Got a silent call that just cut off with a click when I answered and gave my number, then went back to the dial tone after about 5 seconds. Only done two lookups in 5 months, so maybe it’s just a wrong number, but I’ve been getting more of these weird calls recently. Would be careful, could be a scam.
