Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from the Advice Bureau asking if I had any debt issues. Seemed odd to me, since why would a legit advice bureau ring from a regular phone number? Pretty sure it was a scam, so I marked it as risky.

Got a call from this number while I was busy at work today, so I couldn't pick up. I looked it up online and found this website. Apparently, the person on the other end sounds pretty amusing, so fingers crossed they call again!

Got a call from an asian guy on this number, and i told him straight up i wasn't interested in whatever he was trying to sell. I'm from northern ireland so maybe my accent's a bit thick, but i couldnt believe it when he told me to "speak english". That really threw me off so I just ended the call. Looking back now, i kinda wish i'd given him a bit of my best english to shut him down properly!

Some bloke with a weird accent rang my phone askin’ for my husband. I told him this was my number and asked where he got it from. Then he told me to mind my manners and called me a whitey!

Got a call earlier from this same number mentioned in other reviews, they were asking about my debts. Told them I wasn't interested and asked where they were calling from. They said somewhere close to my home, so I asked for my address and they actually gave it to me. Told them I'm disabled and then the bloke started laughing, calling me a nasty name and saying he was my dad! I reported it to the police but nothing's been done. When I try calling the number back, it says it’s not a valid number.

Got a call from this number just now, a woman with an Asian accent asked for me by first name only. She said she was calling from a law firm and wanted to know if I had any debts. When I told her I didn’t, she quickly said goodbye and ended the call. It felt a bit strange so I decided to check online to see if anyone else had similar experiences. These types of calls always make me a bit nervous, so it’s good to hear others have dealt with it too. Just wish there was a way to block them for good, but they just switch numbers and keep going, which is so annoying.

this number keeps ringing me up asking for my partner. no clue why they’ve linked my number with him. they just keep asking for him and when i try to find out who’s calling they won’t say. asked a few times who they are and how they got my number but the guy got annoyed and ended the call. pretty odd since we never gave my number out with my partner’s name attached.

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming they could sort out my debts. Told him straight to take me off their list and stop calling, but he just snapped back, "No chance, we've got your number and it’s staying with us." I said that’s against the law, and he just went on, "We’ve got it, and we’ll keep ringing. So, want help with your debts or not?" When I asked for the company name, he cut me off. Blocked them straight away.

Just ignore and block this number. They claim they can clear your debts and that it’s all government supported. They even mention some personal info, but then want you to confirm more - don’t fall for it! I told the guy I've had calls from them before and wasn’t interested, so I asked to be removed from their list. He refused, I was like, excuse me? Then he said I was wasting his time and just hung up on me. Proper rude!

Got a call from an asian woman, asking for me by name. Been flooded with loads of annoying calls and texts lately from debt collectors and ppi companies. I asked her how they even got my info, and she just hung up! Now I’m blocking the number, but it’s weird because the day I block one number, I start gettin’ texts from somewhere else instead!

He said he was from some consumer advice service, but when I asked why he was ringing, he just wouldn’t say without me giving him my personal info first. He was pretty rude, so I hung up. Then he rang back and I told him to “f##k off,” and that’s when he started calling me “a bl00dy b4st4rd b1tch” again. Weird experience!

Then I passed the phone to me partner, who told him straight to stop botherin us and take me number off. He asked why, and who me partner was. A lady with an Asian accent called saying she was from some company working with the government on a scheme to help clear debts. She asked me what debts I owed, I said none and just ended the call. Apparently she’d also sent me a text the day before but I deleted it straight away.
