Here’s a plan ive thought of. Set up a meeting with the sales person, saying their product is exactly what youre after. When they call the day before or day of to confirm, go along with it. Then when they turn up, have a mate with you and tell the rep that as long as they keep ringing non stop you’ll keep booking pointless meetings to waste their time.

Scrappage scheme for windows, ive been getting calls about it at least 4 times a week since changing to Virgin Media. Im on the TPS list so these calls must be from outside the UK. The message is voice activated, so if you dont say anything nothing plays. They say press 5 to talk to someone or 9 to opt out. I pressed 9 but ive also got in touch with Virgin and will be watching my phone bill closely!

Got a call saying "We’re ringing to inform you about a Government plan to replace your old, drafty windows. Press 9 to opt out, or 5 to hear more." I’ve hit 9 about ten times but they keep ringing anyway. The last straw was a phone at 9am on a Sunday, so I finally pressed 5. It said "Thanks for asking for more details, an agent will be in touch soon." Still nothing by 6.30pm on Sunday. If they do get back to me, they’re in for a very rude reply.
