Got a robotic call about some dodgy payment on my Visa linked to Amazon. Sounds like a scam to me.

A lady with an overseas accent claimed she was ringing from BT, saying there were issues flagged with my internet connection. I told her I wasn’t a BT customer, and she said they manage internet for various providers. When I pointed out she was calling from a mobile number, she replied their office landline was down right now. I said this sounded dodgy, and she got defensive, saying she still hadn’t asked for my bank details or email. I pointed out again that she said she worked for BT, yet their office landline wasn’t working - how does that add up? She just ended the call there.

proper dodgy call, rang me and all I could hear was like a rustling plastic bag sound.

My 13 year old lad got a call from this number but he ignored it since he didn’t recognise it and I’ve now blocked it. He’s had similar calls from places like Manchester and Cardigan before. Seems like someone’s gotten hold of his phone number even though he’s not on Facebook or WhatsApp.

Got the same thing as loads of people here; phone rang, I picked up but no one said anything. Ended up hanging up and gonna block the number after reading other replies. Tried searching it on Facebook but nothing came up.

Just happened to me as well, I looked them up on WhatsApp and yep, it was a blonde lady with a couple of kids. By the way, has anyone bought hair from Aliexpress before?

They called me while I was already on another call, so I tried ringing back but no answer. I added the number on WhatsApp and the profile pic was of a blonde white woman with two kids. After seeing the reviews, I just deleted the number.
