After filling in an online survey from M&S, I’ve been bombarded with annoying calls, including this number which is super persistent. I’ve blocked it now, but it’s started making me quite anxious. I keep checking my bank account, especially with all the TalkTalk hacking news recently. It’s strange because I never had any nuisance calls before doing that survey. I just hope the blocking actually works, but if whoever’s behind this are as daft as they seem, they probably won’t get the hint. Seriously, how hard is it to understand ‘leave me alone’?!

Today, from about 3 in the afternoon to 6, this number kept ringing me 18 times! I decided to block it using Mr Number, but annoyingly, it still pops up with notifications saying the calls are blocked.

Really getting annoyed now. This number rang me three times yesterday and once already today. I missed some calls before, but when I finally picked up today, all I got was a robot lady’s voice saying goodbye after I said hello like four times. What’s the deal with this?

Two different numbers mentioned in the comments have been ringing me loads today and nonstop yesterday too. The first time I picked up, the caller just went silent. When I tried ringing back, it said the number wasn’t in service. That’s when I figured it was some sort of scam call. They kept pestering me, but I haven’t picked up again. I’ve blocked both now, so fingers crossed they stop bothering me!

Someone rang and asked straight for me. When I asked who it was, they just kept calling my name over and over, almost like they were talking to a kid.

Got a call on my phone about some debts or whatever. I told the bloke to put me on their do not call list, but he just laughed at me. When I asked which company he was working for, he wouldn’t say a thing. Then he said he wasn’t gonna remove me. I told him I had his number and was going to report him, and he just laughed again and wished me “good luck.” I wasn't having any of it and let him know exactly what I thought.

I had a call a little while ago, but at first the bloke on the other end was really hard to hear. Eventually, he began going on about some ‘government-backed scheme’ where my name had apparently been picked to clear off some debts I supposedly owe. I told him I don’t have any debts and asked where he got that info from, then he just said alright and ended the call.
