Some absolute numpty decided to give us a ring in the dead of night. We caught the first ring but were too out of it to answer until the second. What greeted us was a bloke trying far too hard to sound ominous. Being half in a daze, we didn’t quite catch what he was rambling on about, and after a brief few moments, we hung up. Not long after, the same number buzzed our phone again, so we just switched it off to catch some much-needed Zs. Honestly, there are some really strange people roaming about!

I've been receiving numerous distressing calls on my 11-year-old daughter's phone from a man who's leaving inappropriate messages. We had a conversation with him today, and he actually threatened me, demanding money and even shared a sort code and bank account number. It's quite evident that I've involved the authorities in this matter. The chap comes across as a rather unsavoury young fellow, possibly of Asian or African descent, likely in his mid-twenties. Frankly, he doesn’t seem particularly sharp. He keeps ringing relentlessly. Once the police have sorted out this situation, I'm planning to change the phone number altogether.

So, in the interest of getting a bit of shut-eye, we switched the phone off for some peace. Honestly, what a sad lot some people are!
